Catering Assistant

15 hours per week. Fixed-term until December 2017.

Starting September 2017

Monday to Friday working 1200 to 1500 plus Saturdays on a rolling rota: 0700 to 1330 or 1200 to 1830.

Trent College is a successful selective boarding and day school with a strong reputation for academic standards, the arts, music and sporting achievements and is looking for the following new member to the Catering team.

A general Catering Assistant is required to carry out food production, service and cleaning tasks in support of other team members’ activities within the Catering Department. The Assistant will also contribute to the maintenance and cleanliness of all light and heavy equipment and remove all waste from production and service areas as required and will assist the pupils in their food choice. 

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a kitchen, preferably within a school environment and preferably hold a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.

Salary package is competitive and includes a staff fee discount for children attending The Elms Junior School or Trent College plus use of the school’s excellent sporting and dining facilities.

Receptionist

Part-time position; permanent

Trent is a successful, oversubscribed selective day and boarding school where pupils receive the individual care and support which enables them to flourish.

The role of Trent Receptionist focuses on providing first class reception and administration support to the school dealing with enquiries from a variety of stakeholders from current parents, prospective parents, suppliers, partners and Old Tridents.

You will be the first point of contact for all visitors and be a key part of the External Relations team. You will need to correctly advise and direct enquirers. The core of the role will be delivering excellent customer service both face to face and over the phone as the representative of Trent College.
