Trent College, registered charity number 527180, holds and processes data in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and abides by its Code of Practice on how it uses information contained in the database used by the Development & Alumni Relations Office.
The 1998 Data Protection Act
All data is securely held in the College's Development & Alumni Relations Office and will be treated confidentially and with sensitivity for the benefit of Trent College and its members. Selected data is available to the College and occasionally to agents contracted by the College for specific alumni-related projects. Data is used for a full range of alumni activities, including the sending of School and Society publications, the promotion of benefits and services to members, the notification of members' events and the raising of funds for Trent College, all of which might include an element of direct marketing. Under the terms of the 1998 Data Protection Act you have the right to object to the use of your data for any of these purposes.
Opt-Out or Change Your Contact Information
Our website provides users the opportunity to opt-out of receiving communications from us through an online opt-out form or by contacting the Alumni Officer. You may also update your contact information previously provided to us through another online form. You cannot remove yourself from our database, but you can prevent unwanted communication.
